Marcos Pin (Lugo, 1974) is one of the recurrent figures of the new Galician jazz trends. His Factor –E– Reset project is now included in this year’s Imaxina Sons and his concert will take place in one of the most meaningful spaces of the festival, the Conservatorio Superior de Música (The High School of Music), one which normally takes in the most groundbreaking and experimental sounds of the festival.
Factor –E– Reset was established only two years ago with the aim of featuring the original pieces that guitarist Marcos Pin wrote for a jazz orchestra. Some of the most prominent figures of Galician new jazz and Galician contemporary music −including drummer LAR Legido and double bassist Paco Charlín − now interpret the music of this extraordinary local composer.
