24.06.08 Photographic exhibition "Janite en Carral 3"

Among the parallel activities organized in the framework of Vigo’s International Jazz Festival, Imaxinasons ’08, a photographic exhibition titled “Janite en Carral 3” will open on June 26th at the Café La Galería (Ronda Don Bosco, 21).
Young photographer Janite is the author of a number of photographic works, which he now places against a musical background. The collection includes 25 snapshots showing the very best of jazz history in Vigo, as the photos were all shot at the Manteca Jazz Club in previous issues of Imaxinasons. Janite plays a game of lights and shadows, as well as of visual effects, portraying the atmosphere of this venue and paying homage to one of the landmarks of jazz in Vigo.
In summary, with this exhibition Janite pays tribute to two artistic ways of expression that now walk hand in hand.
