24.06.08 Jazz takes the bus through the "Jazz No Vitrasa" programme
From June 26th and throughout the days of the Imaxinasons ’08 Jazz Festival, local bus passengers will be able to enjoy the sounds of jazz music all along their route thanks to the Jazz No Vitrasa programme, an initiative supported by Vitrasa, the local bus company.
Everyday, a section of the musicians who participate in the different bands of street wandering musicians of the Pasarrúas section will take it in turns to travel on the local bus to the place where their midday show starts (for further information see the Pasarrúas section in this website), playing small jazz pieces on the way.
This is an innovative initiative of the Imaxinasons Organizing Committee, aimed at bringing jazz music closer to the daily lives of the people of Vigo.
