The final programme for Imaxina Sons, Vigo’s 5th International Jazz Festival, will be closed on June 4th, Thursday. The initial programme of concerts launched in early May will now be enriched with a number of complementary activities spreading all over the city of Vigo in different venues. The festival will open on June 25th, featuring Charles Lloyd. On Thursday, June 4th information will be provided about Imaxina na Rúa (Imagine on the Streets), Jazz na Noite (Jazz in the Night), the street marching bands, the cycle of round table discussions, and the master classes. Everything is now ready, and it is just three weeks for the festival’s opening session. For that reason we would like to invite you all to a party at Xancara Jazz Club (Rúa Isabel II, 6 Vigo) on that date at 21.00h. Live talk and music at a meeting that is open to all those linked to jazz and to this five-year-old festival: musicians, journalists and jazz fans. Without you we would never be able to imagine new sounds for every new issue of the festival. Entry is free of charge but the space is limited. We hope to see you there.
