5.06.09 The A Tempo Orchestra opens the Imagine on the Streets (Imaxina na Rúa) cycle
Imagine on the Streets kicks off on June, Saturday 6th, with the concert of the A Tempo Orchestra from Pontevedra, as a warming up event prior to Imaxina Sons, Vigo’s International Jazz Festival. The purpose of Imagine on the Streets is to take jazz to public spaces with the direct participation of the youngest generation of jazzmen. The band A Tempo, conducted by Miguel Ángel Rodríguez and made up of young amateur artists aged 13 to 55, will give its shows in different corners of Vigo featuring jazz and blues standards.
The initial idea was to give a number of open-air concerts. The weather forecast, however, makes it advisable to proceed to a change of venues, as listed below.
